Fence Repair & Hurricane Damage Restoration

Fence Repair & Hurricane Damage Restoration

Emergency board-up, post resets, leaning-fence correction and full insurance-documented storm rebuilds.

After a named storm, South Florida's fence lines take the damage first. We run dedicated repair crews separate from our installation crews so a leaning gate post or a downed run does not sit behind a four-week new-construction backlog.

We also document everything. Photographs, linear-foot counts, damage cause and line-item scopes formatted the way adjusters expect, which shortens claim cycles and reduces the gap between what an insurer approves and what the rebuild actually costs.

What's included

  • Emergency stabilization and temporary fencing within 24–48 hours
  • Post resets, footer repours and leaning-line correction
  • Panel and picket replacement matched to existing profile and color
  • Gate realignment, hinge and operator repair, track and roller replacement
  • Insurance documentation packages with photos and itemized scope
  • Full replacement with upgraded footers where the original spec failed

Why fences fail in storms — and what we change on the rebuild

In nearly every storm failure we assess, the panels are intact and the posts are lying down with a small plug of concrete attached. Undersized footers, posts set in dry bagged mix, 8-foot spacing on solid privacy panels, and unreinforced gate posts account for the overwhelming majority.

Rebuilding to the same spec guarantees a repeat. We resize the footer to the height and exposure, tighten spacing, reinforce terminal and gate posts, and upgrade fasteners.

Working with your insurance carrier

Fence damage from wind is commonly covered under Coverage B (other structures), typically at 10 percent of dwelling coverage, often with a separate hurricane deductible. We are not public adjusters and we do not negotiate your claim, but a clean, defensible scope with photographs makes the adjuster's job easy and that generally works in your favor.

Fence Repair & Hurricane Damage Restoration FAQs

How fast can you repair my fence after a storm?

Emergency stabilization within 24 to 48 hours in most of the tri-county area. Full permanent repair depends on material availability and permit requirements after a major event, and we give you a real date rather than an optimistic one.

Can you repair a fence you did not install?

Yes. Most of our repair work is on other companies' installations, in every material.

Is it cheaper to repair or replace?

If under roughly 30 percent of the run is damaged and the existing footers are sound, repair wins. Past that, or when the original footers are undersized, replacement with a correct footer spec costs less over the next five years.
