Aluminum forms a self-limiting oxide layer instead of flaking rust, and our powder coat is applied over a chromate-free pretreatment specifically tested for coastal exposure.

Florida Statute 515 and the Residential Swimming Pool Safety Act set the barrier rules every inspector in the tri-county area applies: minimum 48-inch height measured from the outside finished grade, no more than 4 inches of clearance beneath the barrier, no gaps that pass a 4-inch sphere, no external handholds or footholds, and gates that open outward, self-close and self-latch.

We build to those numbers as a baseline, then confirm the local amendment. Miami-Dade, Broward and several Palm Beach municipalities enforce additional gate hardware and inspection requirements, and an installation that ignores them fails the barrier inspection and delays a certificate of completion.

Residential grade suits interior yard lines and side runs on single-family homes. Commercial grade uses heavier extrusions and is what we specify for front elevations, driveway gate posts, and any fence over 5 feet. Industrial grade — .125-inch wall with reinforced rails — goes on warehouse perimeters, utility yards and school properties across Medley, Doral and the Riviera Beach industrial corridor.
